Rachael Blanchard, born on August 22, 1998, is a 19 year old dancer from Albany, New York. From a young age, Rachael loved to put on a show for people. Performing came very naturally to her, and after dancing her first solo to "The Good Ship Lollipop" at the age of 5, she was hooked! She began her dance training at just 2 years old at Dance Dimensions which also located in Albany. From the beginning, Rachael was introduced to a variety of dance styles, ranging from tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, and lyrical dance. Rachael received her tap training from Karen Walco and Heather Pielo, and her jazz and lyrical training under Stephanie Green. Recently, she was taken under the wing of Madame Phyllis Latin, who has provided her with top notch ballet training that has really transformed her as a dancer. In addition to dance, Rachael loves to sing and act as well. Rachael began taking vocal lessons her sophomore year of high school, and in the past year has enrolled in acting classes. Currently, Rachael spends half her time at her home in Albany, NY where she receives her dance training, and the other half auditioning in the city and taking classes at Broadway Dance Center. She does not currently attend college, and has dedicated all her time to her professional dance career.
